RANDOLPH COUNTY          November Term, 1808

ALEXANDER GRAY and others

Vs.

EBENEZER TERRENCE and MARY, his wife

Petition against Defendants as Guardians of ELIZA PARKE, infant

The petition is filed for the purpose of getting release from being securities 
as Guardians of ELIZA PARKE, infant, as to compel defendants to give  other or 
counter securities; and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
Defendants, EBENEZER TERRENCE and MARY, his wife, are inhabitants of the State 
of Georgia. It is therefore ordered by the court that publication be made for 
three weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that unless the said Defendants appear at 
our next Court to be held for the County of Randolph at Asheborough on the 
1st  Monday of February next and plead, answer or demur to this petition, 
judgment will be taken pro confesso against them and heard ex parte.
