RANDOLPH COUNTY,  Oct. Term, 1835

JANE HICKS 
    
        VS.

WILLIS HICKS

Petition for Alimony

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, WILLIS 
HICKS, is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro’, that unless the defendant appear at our next Court to 
be held for the County of Randolph in the Court House at Asheboro’ on the 4th 
Monday in March then and there to plead, answer or demur, judgment will be 
taken pro confesso and heard ex parte.
Witness, JOSHUA CRAVEN, Clerk of Court, at office in Asheboro on Oct. 31, 1835.
