RANDOLPH COUNTY,  Feb.. Term, 1827

Attachment Levied on Land

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JAMES 
DENTON, is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro’, that unless the defendant appear at our next Court to 
be held for the County of Randolph in the Court House at Asheboro’ on the 
1st   Monday in May next,  then and there to plead, answer or demur, judgment 
will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte.
Witness, JESSE HARPER, Clerk of  said Court, at office in Asheboro on the 
first Monday of February, A. D., 1827.
