This Indenture made this 17th of July in the year of our Lord 1804 between William Bell on the one part & Absolum Vickory on teh other part Both of the County of Randolph & State of No Carolina witnesseth that for & in consideration of twenty pounds lawfull money of the affsd. State by him the Sd. Absalom Vickory to the Sd. William Bell in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged that the Sd. Wm. Bell hath give granted sold & conveyed & by these presents do give grant sell & make own, same to the Sd. Absolum Vickory, his hires forever one Certain Tract or Parcel of Land lying & being in the County of Randolph on the Waters of Deep River Begn. on a White Oak Thomas Close s line N. 16 Chs & 95 linkis to a Black Jack then Wt. 29 Chs & 50 Links to a Stake, then So. 16 Chs & 95 links to a Stake on Clarcs line then Et. on Sd. line to the Begn. in all Containing fifty acres to have & to hold, the Sd. 50 acres of Land with the Appertenans thereunto Belonging with all Rights Benefits & Privileges to him the Sd.
