W. Langston of Randolph County, and state of North Carolina of the second part Witnesseth: That said Wm Wall and wife Mary Wall in consideration of two hundred and fifty Dollars, to them paid by A. W. Langston the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold, and by these presents does bargain, sell and convey to said A. W. Langston and his heirs all the title interest & estate of the party of the first part in and to a tract of land in Randolph County, State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of William Fulp & William Gray and others, bounded as follows, viz: Beginning at a stone Rich's corner in Gray's line running east thirteen poles to a stone in Fulp's line, then north 85 poles to a stone Fulps corner, then east 88 poles to maple Vickery's corner then north 27 1/2 degrees west various crooks of the Branch 30 chains and 80 links to a Black Oak, Coltranes corner, then south 76 degrees west 15 chains to a stone Reynold's line, then 3 chains and fifty links to a stone. then west 4 chains and 75 links to a hickory Gray's corner then south 14 degrees west 21 chains and 22 links to a stone in Gray's corner, then south to the beginning. Containing 64 acres more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, to the said A. W. Langston his heirs and assigns forever, to the only use and behoof forever And the said William Wall and wife covenant that they are seized of said premises in fee, and ha___ right to convey the same in fee-simple, that the same are free and clear from all encumbrances, and that they will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons, whatsoever. Wall and Mary Wall his wife, personally appeared before me this day, and acknowledged the due execution of the within deed of conveyance; and the said Mary Wall being by me privately examined, separate and apart from her said husband touching her voluntary execution of the same, doth state that she signed the same freely and voluntarily, without fear or compulsion of her said husband, or any other person, and that she doth still voluntarily assent thereto.
