   We understand, says the “Raleigh Register,” that MR. HERMAN ALLEN of 
Randolph has constructed a Planeing Machine, which will perform the labor of 
about 20 men with band planes. The machine is to be put in operation by water  
or horse power and the cost will be but trifling.
