              AMERICAN PARTY CANDIDATES NAMED
   A friend writing from Randolph County, informs us that the American cause 
is prospering greatly in that sterling county. DR. HOLD for the Senate and 
HENRY B. ELLIOTT and A. FOSTER, ESQS. for the Commons are the regularly 
nominated candidates of the party; and MESSRS. JOHN A. CRAVEN and D. T. 
WINSLOW, also Americans, are running on their own hook.
