RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Effie Sechrest Cagle, 15 May 1965 ----¤¤¤¤---- High Point Enterprise, Saturday, May 15, 1965 Mrs. Cagle, 71, Dies in Hospital Mrs. Effie Sechrest Cagle, 71 wife of Snoten Cagle of 106 Chase Ave., was dead on arrival at High Point Memorial Hospital at 2:10 a.m. today. She had been in her usual health until suffering a heart attack at her home. Mrs. Cagle was born March 7, 1894, in Davidson County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sechrest. On Dec 24, 1921 she was married to Mr. Cagle. A resident of High Point most of her life, she came here from Lexington. She was a member of First Reformed Church. Surviving are her husband of the home; one son, Charles S. Cagle of 124 Marywood Dr.; one daughter, Mrs. B. J. (Margaret) McGuire of 101 Mayview Ave.; and six grandchildren. Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in First REformed Church by Rev. John Settlemyre and Rev. Raymond J. Hahn. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will reamin at Sechrest Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, until placed in the church 30 minutes before the funeral. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight. Pallbearers will be Colman McDowell, Ralph Johnson, C.A. Lowe, Thomas Key, Ronnie Thompson and Hubert Chadwick. ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
