Snoten Cagle, 87, of 108 Chase Ave. died Tuesday at 8:13 a.m. in High Point
Memorial Hospital.  He had been critically ill for three weeks.  Mr. Cagle was
born in Randolph County May 11, 1891, a son of Calvin and Annie Cagle.  A
resident of High Point for 66 years, he was married December 24, 1921, to
Effie Sechrest.  She died May 15, 1965.  He was a retired carpenter and was of
the Baptist faith.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Burel (Margaret) McGuire
of 101 Mayview; one son, Charles S. Cagle of 124 Marywood Drive.; six
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday
in Sechrest Chapel by the Rev. Dewey A. Bailey.  Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.  The body will remain at Sechrest Funeral Home, and the family will
be there tonight 7 to 9 and at the home of Mrs. McGuire, 101 Mayview.
Pallbearers will be S.B. Hartley, R.A. Risen, G.W. Thomas, L.C. Stroud, C.D.
Caldwell and C. L. Koonce.
