RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Jewel Cagle Auman, 24 Feb 1999 ----¤¤¤¤---- High Point Enterprise Troy - Jewel Cagle Auman, 69, of 5213 Lovejoy Rd., died Wednesday, Feb 24, 1999, at Wake Forest University, Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb 27, 1999, at Macedonia United Methodist Church, (Abner Community), conducted by the Rev. Jack Page. Burial will be in the chuch cemetery, Abner Rd. Mrs. Auman was born in Randolph County, to Astor B. and Coral Hill Cagle. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia U.M.C. (Abner Community) Survivors are her husband, Clyde B. "Bill" Auman of the home; sons, Ken Auman of Troy and David M. Auman of Charlotte; daughter, Catherine Carol Teague of New London; sister, Rachel C. Brown of Asheboro; brothers, W. Lloyd Cagle of Denton, Hal B. Cagle and James J. Cagle, both of Asheboro; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday Feb 26, 1999, at Phillips Funeral Home, Star.
