Headline - John R. Marley Will Be Buried This Afternoon

     John R. Marley, 63, died at his home six miles south of Ramseur Wednesday 
afternoon at 5:15 o'clock after a critical illness of five months with heart 
ailment.
     Funeral service will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Deep River 
Baptist church in Coleridge.  Interment will take place in the church 
cemetery.  He is survived by his wife, the former, Miss Ella Needham; a 
daughter, Mrs. Blanche Maness, Ramseur, route 1; five sons, Clarnece, of 
Detroit, Mich., Percy and Marvin, both of High Point; Lucian and Hulen, of 
Ramseur, route 1, and a sister, Mrs. John Watkins, of Greensboro.
