Headline - George T. marley Died Tuesday On Staley, Route One

     George Thomas Marley, 82, of Staley, route 1, died at his home Tuesday 
after three days illness.  The funeral will be held today, Thursday, at 4 p.m. 
at Moore's Chapel baptist church, where the body will lie in state from 3 to 4 
p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
     Surviving are his wife, the former Lillie Ausley; four daughters, Misses 
Ciara, Irene and Flora Marley of Burlington, and Mrs. W.R. Fitts of near Siler 
City; two sons, Clarence of Staley route 1, and Frank Marley of the home, and 
five grandchildren.
