Wed. Se;pt. 5, 1827  North Carolina Journal
   DIED, in Fayetteville, on Friday evening, the 31st of August, JOHN B. MOSS, 
of Randolph County, in the 25th year of his age, after a severe illness of 
four days. MR. MOSS came to this place on Tuesday morning very ill, from a 
tour of the lower counties, where he had been to settle the business of a 
deceased brother, for whom his fond parents' hearts were still bleeding, when 
death aimed another blow. In the death of this young man, society has lost a 
bright ornament.
