Robeson County and a member of East Green Street Baptist Church. Surviving

officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Born 
on June 26, 1918 in Guilford County, a daughter of Oliver and Sadie Spencer 
Craven. On June 15, 1935 she married David Frazier who preceded her in death 
on January 15, 2002. Surviving are 2 daughters; Ms. Joanna Frazier Hudson of 
Archdale and Ms. Sharon Frazier Fenton of Greensboro; 3 granddaughters: Mrs.

Memorial Park. Born June 28, 1933 in Guilford County to Mallory and Alva

Center, Pleasant Garden. Funeral service will be Mar. 10th at 11 a.m. at the 
Sophia Baptist Church; Rev. Bill V. Barnes and the Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves 
officiating. Interment will be at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery. Born May 
13, 1926, in Randolph County, a son of Andrew Anderson and Alma Freeman 
Bennett. First wife, Lucille Young Bennett preceded him in death in 1968. 
Preceded in death by a daughter, Laurine; and a brother, Archie Bennett. In 
1970, he married the former Ellen Farmer Phillips who survives of the home. 
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Lafayetta Reaves 
and her husband, Ken, of Randleman and Mrs. Donna Owens and her husband, 
Carl, of Randleman; two sons, Lesley Bennett and wife, Janet, of Cameron and 
Boyd Bennett and wife, Kay, of Trinity; one step-son, Donald Phillips Jr. of 
Ramseur; three sisters, Mrs. Allene Damron of Sophia, Mrs. Lecy Forkner of 
Asheboro and Mrs. Irene Foust of Staley; two brothers, Floyd Bennett of 
Thomasville and Donald Bennett of Asheboro; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-

CHARLOTTE- Maggie Curtis Moffitt, 91, of the Care Center at Carmel Hills in 
Charlotte, passed March 8, 2006. Born in Randolph County on Jan. 5, 1915, to 
the late Charlie Cleveland and Hattie Bean Curtis. Married to Vester (A.V.) 
Moffitt on Jan. 25, 1941 who preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1992. Preceded 
in death by three sisters and twin brothers. Survived by two daughters, 
Andrea Lambert and her husband, Wayne, and Sheila Sommers and her husband, 
Dennis; special caregiver and friend, Vicki Jones; and loving nieces and 
nephews. Services will be March 13th, in the Wilson Chapel of Hankins & 
Whittington Funeral Service; Rev. Sherrill Curtis officiating. Interment will

Place in Greensboro. Funeral service will be Mar. 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Reavis 
Memorial Baptist Church; Rev. Brian E. Biggers officiating. Interment with 
military rites will follow in the Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Born November 
1, 1956 in Guilford County, a son to Bill and Shirley Dorse Everhart. On 
April 30, 1988 he married the former Terri Marsh who survives of the 
residence. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Cameron 
Brooke Everhart, Carly Hope Everhart and Bret Allen Everhart, all of the 
residence. His parents, Bill and Shirley Everhart of Greensboro. A special

October 29, 1928 the son of William Robert Fitts, Sr. and Lillie Mae (Marley)

Fitts, his parents, W. R. Fitts, Sr. and Lilllie Mae Marley Fitts, and a 
brother Rev. Russell Fitts. Survived by his wife Virginia Dixon Fitts, two

1920, was the son of the late Ben Morgan and Turah Cameron Morgan. 
Predeceased by brothers Cameron, Charles and Max Morgan and a great grandson 
Ben Goebel. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosa Shumate Morgan, his son 
Gene Morgan (Judy) of Charlotte and his daughters Susan Swiers (Charles) of 
Asheboro and Beth Walker (Stuart) of Raleigh, his sister Add Lea Morgan of 
Asheboro and sister-in-law Hilda Morgan of Asheboro. He is also survived by 
his grandchildren Jennifer Brewer (Kevin), Casandra Newton (Galen), Ellie 
Parker (Garrett), Rebecca Kidd (Alex), Amy Fleischer (Ethan) and Caroline

officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Born in 
Philadelphia, Pa., on June 30, 1927, daughter of Neil P. and Adeline Bruce 
Coyle. On June 5, 1946, she married Ray Dee Robinson who preceded her in 
death. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia R. Robinson of the home, Cathy 
Robinson Vecellio and son-in-law, Russell Vecellio; two beloved 
granddaughters, Lane Rae and Mary Frances Vecellio; brother-in-law, Harold 
Hinson and his wife, Betty; four sisters-in-law, Nina Miller, Mary Ann Paton, 
Loretta Palmer and Rebecca Farlow. She is also survived by beloved friends,
