Samuel G. Newlin - Randleman - Samuel Gray Newlin, 79, formerly of Randleman
died Tuesday in the Shelby Convalescent Home in Shelby. 

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Methodist Church, with
the Rev. Raymond J. Hahn officiating.  

A native of of Randleman, he was a member of ths First United Methodist Church,
a graduat of N.C. State University, a retired textile designer and a Mason. 

Surviving are sisters, Miss Mary Gray Newlin and Miss Johnsie Newlin of Randleman. 

The body is at Pugh Funeral Home.
