Mrs. Emma Staley
Died Thursday
Liberty, Rt. 1

  Mrs. Emma D. Staley, 90, of route 1, Liberty, died Thursday at the home. 
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Mamie Staley of the home, Mrs. J. Frank 
Layton and Miss Mary Staley of Greensboro; four sons, Charlie W. Staley of 
route 2, Liberty; Ben R. Staley of route 4, Greensboro, Paul C. Staley of 
Phoenix, Ariz., John H. Staley of the home; two half-sisters, Mrs. Minnie 
Craven of Liberty, Mrs. Fannie Morgan of Marshville; one half-brother, H. M. 
Crutchfield of Guilford College.
  Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at Macedonia 
Baptist Church and burial followed in the church cemetery.
