The Patriot (Greensboro) Sat. , June 20, 1829
   DIED, in Randolph County, on Friday, the 12th inst., COL. HUGH WALKER. 
Society has sustained a serious loss in the death of this amiable man. He has 
been, for the two years last, a member of the Legislature of this State, and 
was, we understand, previous to his death, a candidate for re-election.
