WILL OF ADAM ANDREWS I Adam Andrews of the County of Randolph and State of No Carolina being in perfect mind and memory Thanks be to God for the same and knowing that I am one day to die hath made and ordained this my last Will and Testament... And as touching my worldly Estate wherewith I am prospered with in this life 1. I give devise and dispose of in manner and form following in the first place I give Peggy Andrews my beloved wife during her lifetime one Negro boy named Sam also one the choice of my horse creatures also one the choice of my cows and calves also the choice of one of my feather beds also the use of my dwelling house and my cowground field up the creek, joining the house. 2. I give to my daughter Peggy Andrews one Negro girl named Bettey also two cows two sheep and one mare of her choice after her mothers choice also one feather bed and one spinning wheel. 3. I give to my son Coonrod's Children five shillings to be equally divided between my grandchildren. 4. I give to my daughter and her husband James Ludlo ten pounds. 5. I give to my daughter Catherine Andrews ten pounds. 6. I give to my son David Andrews ten pounds also the track of land he lives on up as high as Rock Creek. 7. I give to my son Michael Andrews the track of land I now live on tho not fully till after the death of my wife also ten pounds. 8. I have formerly given to my daughter Susanna Lathrom the portion I alloted her all to five shillings which I give her. 12. I give to my daughter Barberbry Garner and her husband Bradley Garner two cows and two calves two sheep and one mare which property said Garner has already got. 13. After my children has got the property agreeable to my corrections the _____ I direct to be sold at publick sale acc. and every part of my property which I have not given by this my will to be sold by my executors the money arriving from the latter to be equally divided between those undermentioned by name. 14.
