Devised March 15, 1790 Probated December Term, 1791. Whereas I John Bryant of Randolph County North Carolina Calling to mind the Necessity of Settling my Outward Possession while in health do this Fifteenth day of March in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven Hundred & nin[e]ty do make and Ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner & Form Following Vizt. First I devise all my Just debts to be Discharged and the remainder of my Estate personal to be divided as follows, Vizt. Second I Give to my Grand daughter Mary Bryant my Bed & Bedsted & Furniture and half of the household Goods that I do possess. Third I give to my Grand Daughter Sarah Bryant my Other bed and Furniture and the Other half of my household Goods that I do possess. Fourth I give to my Grand Son Alexander Bryant my plantation & all the rents of it Horse Bridle & Saddle and if there be any Money due to me at my Decease to be Equally divided between my three Grand Children that is Mary Sarah & Alexander Bryant the above mentioned. Fifth I Give to my Brother Peter Bryant all my Wearing ap[p]arel he making my Coffin and Seeing my Decently Buried. Sixth I Give to my three daughters Elenor Curtis, Ann Robbins, & Mary Lowe Each the Sum of Five Shillings. Lastly I do appoint David Smith Jnr. & Alexander Smith my Executors to this my last will & Testament.
