Second marriage, Isaac Cox Be it remembered that I, Phebe Cox, of Randolph County and State of North Carolina, widow, being far advaqnced in years sand having under my consideration the uncertainty of human life, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to so; I order that my body be decentl buried and that my just debts and funeral charges be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and as to my worldly estate which the Lord in mercy hath been pleased to bestow upon me, I give and dispose of the same in manner and form following: Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannah Barker the sum of fifty dollars I give and bequeath unto my daughter Amy Husband's children the sum of five dollars if they come to demand it of my executors to be divided among them part and part alike. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Comer the sum of ten dollars I give and bequeath unto my two grand daughters, Phebe Cox and Rebekcah Comer the sum of forty dollars to be divided between them part and part alike. I give and bequeath unto my son John Allen the sum of fifty dollars I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Allen the sum of one hundred dollars I give and bequeath unto my daughter Phebe Cox the sum of seventy five dollars And lastly, it is my mind and will that __________ remain after my just debts and _________ charged that such remainder shall be devided among my five children, viz. Hannah Barker, Ann Comer, John Allen, Samuel Allen, and Phebe Cox, share and part alike, and I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my two sons John Allen and Samuel Allen, my executors of this my last will and testament, in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this tenth day of the fifth month, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen 1814.
