Daughter of Isaac Fields and Martha Jane Dorsett Caviness. Flora married first Joseph Benjamin Crutchfield and second Bascom Brower. Flora's Will is found in the Randolph County Record of Wills Vol. 18, pages 88-89. WILL May it be remembered that I Flora M. Brower, of Liberty, Randolph County, NC being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form as follows. I Flora M. Brower have on deposit in the savings department, in the Bank of Liberty $979.50 at this date the 26 day of May Which I order and direct payed to my son Mason H. Crutchfield, at the age of twenty one years. Unless it become necessary, then, it is my will, that so much of the income that I have given to my son Mason, as may be needful may be applied for his support and education. So far as may be thought reasonable, and best by his executor. It is also my will that my executor put my son Mason H. Crutchfield at the orphans home soon after I am put away. Further-more, it is my will that if my son Mason should die at an early age, that home and lot including everything, house and kitchen furniture, money & property of all kinds as may be found, therein, may go to my said Husband B.M.
