First, I give and bequeath my soul to God that gives it, and my body to the dust from whence it was taken. Item. I bequeath that all my just debts be paid, and the reminisces of my estate to be divided in the manner following. Item. I give and bequeath to my son, James, the sum of one dollar. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Sibbilla, the sum of one dollar. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Elizabeth, the plantation I now live on with all my movable property, except what is hereinafter named. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Grace, the sum of twenty dollars. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Penninah, the sum of one dollar. Item. I give and bequeath to my grandson, John Fruit, son of Thomas, the sum of one hundred dollars. Item. I appoint Samuel Walker, Jr. sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witnesses whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this twenty-fifth day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand, either hundred, and eighteen.
