Being old and on the decline of but of sound mind and memory, do recollect that it is appointed for all men to Die, do make this my last Will and Testament, first of all things I Will my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent and Christian burial and all Funeral Charges paid, and my Spirit to God that gave it, and as for the small Estate that it hath pleased God to bless me with, first of all things I Will of my Estate a sufficient portion to pay all my just debts, then first of my Land I Will to my Grand Son Joseph Warren Robins fifty Acres of Land lying as follows, beginning at the Corner White Oak Jinkins Line, thence running East so far as to include the improvement where John Robins did Live, thence North for Complement and the remains of my land I Will to my two younger Sons, namely Silas and Michael Robins to be equally divided between the two, Silas on the North, Michael on the South it is to be divided by an East and West like direction, so as to give Michael all my buildings and I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Robins the privilige of Staying and making it her home while single, but not to dispossess Michael, and for my small Estate Personal, my Will is it to be sold and my just debts paid and the balance to be divided between Christopher, Michael and Elizabeth, excepting all the rest of my Children to have one Dollar a piece after this I do Will and appoint my two Sons namely William and Christopher Robins to be my Executors as this is my last Will and Testament this signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us William Osborn his Absalom Robins John X Robins Andrew Miles mark State of North Carolina} Court of Pleas and quarter Sessions Randolph County } August Term 1827 The Executions of the Will of John Robbins was proven in open Court by William Osborn one of the Subscribing Witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded Jesse Harper CCC [Transcribed by John L.
