I received the following will from Frances Casstevens and Roger
Lineberry and would like it to be added to the NC archives for Randolph
County.


Will of Jacob Lineberry of Randolph Co., NC, September 29, 1821.

In the name of God, Amen.  I, Jacob Lineberry, of the County of Randolph
and State of North Carolina, being weak of body but of sound memory,
blessed be God, do the twenty-ninth day of September in the year of our
Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty one, make & publish this my
last will and testament in manner & form following, that is to say -

First, I recommend all my just debts to be paid to be raised & sold out
of my movable estate, & also all my land I give and bequeath unto my
wife Catherine Lineberry as long as she lives or during her widowhood &
also the remaining part of my estate, if any, to be hers during her life
for her maintenance, & after her deceast I devise and give all the
remaining part of my estate to be sold and equally divided amongst my
children vis. John Lineberry and Elizy McDaniel and Jacob Lineberry and
Thos. Lineberry, Mary Nelson and Francis Lineberry and George Lineberry
and James Lineberry and Samuel Lineberry and Catherine Nelson and
Solomon Lineberry.

And I make and ordain James Scotten and my wife my executors of this my
will intent for the intent and purposes in this will contained in
witness whereof I, the said Jacob Lineberry, have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my seal the day and year first above written.
