In this case it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, HENRY GAY, is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published at Wadesboro, notifying the said non-resident to be and appear at our next Superior Court of Law to be held for the County of Richmond at the Court House in Rockingham on the 3rd Monday in March next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to him. Witness, R. S.
