   STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  Richmond County SUPERIOR COURT OF LAW
   Spring Term 1852

   SARAH MARGARET GRAHAM, by her next friend and father, CALVIN GRAHAM and    
others
                          vs.

   DAN'L McRAE, adm'r of CATHERINE McRAE, dec'd and others

   Petition for Account and Settlement 

   It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that WILLIAM A. SIMPSON, one 
of the defendants in this case is not an inhabitant of this State: It is 
therefore ordered that publication be made for six successive weeks in the 
North Carolina "Argus" notifying the said WILLIAM A. SIMPSON to personally 
appear at our next Superior Court of Law to be held in the said County of 
Richmond at the Court House in Rockingham on the fourth Monday in September 
next, then and there to plead answer or demur to the petition filed.
   Otherwise the petition  will be taken  pro confesso and judgment  will be 
made ex parte as to him. 
   Witness WILLIAM B. COLE, Clerk of said Court at office in Rockingham on the 
third Monday in March A. D. 1852 and in the 76th year of American Independence.
