ANGUS McLEAN, heirs at law of HUGH M. McLEAN, deceased

Petition to Make Real Estate Assets

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendants, ANGUS McLEAN and wife, MARY, reside beyond the limits of this 
State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, a newspaper published in the 
Town of Fayetteville, notifying said defendant non-residents, to be and appear 
at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of 
Richmond at the Court House in Rockingham on the third Monday in April next, 
then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwide, 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to them. Witness
CHARLES C. TERRY, Clerk of said Court at office on the third Monday in January 
A. D. 1854.
