STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA    COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS    RICHMOND COUNTY
October Term 1856

JOHN WATSON and others
     vs.
PETER HANNER, Adm'r de bonis non cum testamento annexo, of JOHN WATSON, 
deceased, and others, and Adm'r of JOHN K. GIBSON, deceased and others

Petition for Account and Settlement

In this case,  it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that ARCHIBALD 
WATSON, ALEXANDER WATSON, and CHRISTOPHER GIBSON are non-residents of this 
State, it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, a newspaper published in the 
Town of Fayetteville, notifying said non-residents to be and appear at our 
next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the county of Richmond 
in the Court House at Rockingham on the 3rd Monday in January next. Then and 
there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment 
will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte as to them. 
Witness L.H. WEBB, Clerk of the said Court at office in Rockingham on the 3rd 
Monday in October A.D. 1856.
