STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA     SUPERIOR COURT OF LAW          RICHMOND COUNTY
Fall Term 1860

SAMUEL WATSON
     vs.
CATHARINE WATSON

Petition for Divorce

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that CATHARINE 
WATSON is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus 
notifying said non-resident to be and appear at our next Superior court of Law 
to be held for the County of Richmond at the Court House in Rockingham on the 
3rd Monday of March. Then and there to plead, answer or demure to this 
petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter 
heard ex parte as to her. Witness, R. S. McDONALD, on the 3rd Monday in 
September, A.D., 1860.
