   DEPARTED THIS LIFE, in Richmond County, N. C., Nov. 7th, 1856, after a  
lingering illness of many years, MRS. SARAH BUCHANNON, aged 76 years.
She was a native of Richmond County, and had been an acceptable member of 
Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. She was the wife 
of the oldest and most memorable Ruling Elder of Laurel Hill Church.
