James Herbert McINTYRE was the son of Louisa/Eliza Jane POOLE McIntyre, b. 1 Mar 1982, d. 5 Feb 1970, and her husband, James Archibald McINTYRE, b. 24 Dec 1878, d. 26 Nov 1969. They farmed near Ellerbe, Richmond, North Carolina. Eliza Jane was the daughter of Hartwell Pleasant POOLE and Sarah Jane HARRIS. Her husband was the son of James Henry McINTYRE and Mary Jane (Miranda) SMITH.
