GEORGE THOMAS was born in Richmond County, N. C. Feb. 27, 1797, and died at 
Lowndesboro, Ala, March 16, 1867, aged 70 years. He served three or four years 
in the North Carolina Legislature. In 1840 he moved to Montgomery, Ala.
