Alexander Cameron McKinnon born September 1800 in Richmond County, North 
Carolina. His parents were Daniel and Grace Currie McKinnon Scottish 
immigrants. Alexander died 13 Jan 1870 in Richmond County. The portrait of 
Alexander may have been done around 1856, but reflected a more youthful 
Alexander as he was 55 at the time of his marriage to Sarah.
