This is one of several tax lists I have included in my book OUR NATIVE HEATH - Richmond County NC 1779-1899. The book will be available on November 1st, 1997. The first tax list after the establishment of Richmond County was compiled in 1779 by James Pickett Esq. The original spelling has been retained in this record.
