NANCY CARMICHAEL
    vs.
JOHN CARMICHAEL et al

Petition for Dower

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that JOHN 
CARMICHAEL, ARCHIBALD CARMICHAEL and HUGH CARMICHAEL reside beyond the limit 
of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made 
for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published in Wadesboro, 
notifying said defendant, non-residents to be and appear at our next Court to 
be held for the County of Richmond at the Court House in Rockingham on the 3rd 
Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this 
petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter 
will be heard ex parte will be made as to them. Witness LOUIS H. WEBB, Clerk 
of the said Court at Office in Rockingham on the 3rd Monday in October A. D.
1860.
