Last Will and Testament of C. C. Norton – 25th day of May, 1890
North Carolina, Richmond County. I C.C. Norton of the aforesaid county 
and state being of sound mind but considering the uncertainty of my 
earthly existence do make and declare this my Last Will and Testament.
First, I give and devise to my beloved wife Fannie A. Norton the tract
of land on which I now reside on containing one hundred acres.
Second, I give and bequeath my said beloved wife all my household and 
kitchen furniture and all my stock of hogs.
Third, I hereby constitute and appoint J.W. Butler my lawful executor
to all intents and purposed to execute this my Last Will and Testament
according to the true intent of the same. In witness whereof I the said
C.C. Norton do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 20th day of May 
1890. C.C. Norton (x his mark)
Signed sealed and declared by the said C.C. Norton to be his Last Will 
and Testament in our presence and we as witnesses.
