Transcribed & posted by Myrtle Bridges January 20th, 2000. State of North Carolina, Richmond County. April 15th, A.D. 1844. In the name of God Amen I Sabra Wright of the state and county aforesaid being weak in body, but of sound mind and memory do this day make and publish this my Last Will & Testament in the manner following. Viz. I give and bequeath unto my son James Wright my Negro man Kader, my Negro Woman Dice, my Negro boy Peter, my Negro girl Tener, my Negro boy Lynn and a Negro girl Nanny. I also give and bequeath unto my son John Wright a Negro girl named Sintha. I also give and bequeath unto my son James Wright all the remaining parts of my property which I may die seized and possessed with, my horse, all my stock of cattle, my stock of hogs, and stock of sheep, also all my household and kitchen furniture. All my farming utensils, one gig and harness, all of which as above named I give absolutely, and I nominate and appoint my trusty friend Thomas Gibson executor to this my Last Will and Testament.
