Directions to cemetery from Lumberton are as follows: take Martin Luther King Jr Dr (Hwy 41 S) south towards Fairmont, NC. Cross under Hwy 74; turn left onto Wire Grass Road, continue south; turn right on Smyrna Church Road, and continue about a mile; left onto Collins Road [dirt road]. Continue straight back, and turn left through the field and continue to wood line. From there cemetery is located about 50 yards on the left. Cemetery is overgrown, but very accessible. Other than tombstone, there are medal stakes and other indications of unmarked graves. Cemetery transcribed by Sam West, and assisted by Donald Kinlaw and Jerry Cox on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013.
