It is located by taking Roberts Avenue (Hwy 72) to Old Whiteville Road and driving about 4 miles make a right turn on Beulah Church Road. The Pittman Cemetery is about 4 miles on Beulah Church Road on the right after exiting Old Whiteville Road. There is a chain link fence around it and a brick columned gate with the name Pittman Cemetery above the gate. It is just a few feet off Beulah Church Road. By the gate to the left is a beautiful Live Oak Tree with hanging Spanish Moss, planted by Jordan Lee Pittman himself. Jordan Lee Pittman's grave is just inside the gate to the left very near his Live Oak Tree. The Confederate Plaque of Jordan Lee Pittman lists 16 Dec 1899 as his Date of Death. This is incorrect as discovered by Robert Terrell Johnson in Feb of 2008 in the Archives of the Robesonian Newspapers where a tribute and several articles list his true date of date which is January 26 1908.
