This deed is recorded in Robeson County Courthouse, Book 3, Page 74. The land was given by Redden Britt and Cader Willouby because of their love for the church. The land given for the church was located on he East Side of Hog Swamp and was to belong to the church as long as he church continued to exist. Witness's to the transaction were Stephan D. Collins an Robert Hendren. The earliest record of Deacons is 1894 when W P Walters, J C Freeman, J E Walters, W J Purvis, W Lovett, and Bright Atkinson were Deacons.
