    vs.
WILLIAM W. GUNN

Original Attachment and Garnishment

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant,
WILLIAM W. GUNN, resides beyond the limits of this state it is therefore 
ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the 
N. C. Argus, a newspaper published in the Town of Fayetteville, notifying said 
defendant, non-resident, to be and appear at our next Superior Court of Law to 
be held for the County of Robeson at the Court House in Lumberton, on the 4th 
Monday of September next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this 
petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter 
will be heard ex parte as to them. Witness ALEXANDER McMILLAN, Clerk of the 
said Court at office in Lumberton on the 4th Monday of March A. D., 1856.
