                   EXECUTOR'S SALE OF LAND
   Pursuant to an order of the Court of Equity of Robeson County, I will 
proceed to sell, as Administrator of the late JOHN C. McCORMIC, deceased, on 
the premises on Thursday, the 23rd of November next, about 300 acres of land 
situated on Bear Swamp, in Robeson County, 12 miles west of Lumberton, and 
four miles east of Red Banks, and near the route of the contemplated railroad 
between Wilmington and Charlotte, and less than three miles from the Lumber 
River. 
   About 50 acres of this land is cleared; the remainder is heavily covered 
with pine timber, and well suited to making turpentine.
   TERMS: One half the purchase money to become due in six months from the day 
of sale; the other half at 12 months from the day of sale, with bond and 
approved security.
