Report of the Committee on the Division of the Negroes of Alexr Rowland decd.
            Febry Term 1838.
                        Ordered that John W. Powell  James Humphries
and Henry Hollingsworth be appointed Commissioners to make
an equal division of the negro Slaves belonging to the Estate of Alexr
Rowland decd. Between Penelope Norment and John A Rowland
heirs and Children of Alfred Rowland decd decd agreeable to the
directions the Will to wit  Sd Alexr Rowland decd and report
to this court from the minutes  A. McEachin Clk
                        The Division of the above Negroes
Were made as follows Penelope K Norment gets Fanny
Harriet  Ton   Stephen and Edmund   and  =-
John A. Rowland gets Sherry   Nelson   Caroline and Mary
