Neill Shaws Estate – Division Report of Committee
August 8th 1835.
            John C Davis, Alexr Graham & John McLean being appointed a committee 
to divide and allot to Archd J Currie in right of his wife, and to the children 
of Neill Shaw decd   A majority of the above named committee met at the late 
residence of the aforesaid decd on the day above mentioned and Report as follows  
To Mrs Mary Currie negro Jennet $430 – negro Nancy $114   one hun-dred and sixty 
nine Dollars and Twenty cents cash from the Administration Amount seven hundred 
and thirty three dollars and twenty cents.   To Ann Caroline Shaw negro Ann 
three hundred Dollars, Charles three hundred and twenty four dollars.   Cash do 
do one hundred and nine dollars and twenty cents Among seven hundred and Thirty 
three dollars and twenty cents.   Neill Jackson Shaw negro Sam, one hundred and 
eighty dollars, negro Lener two hundred and four dollars, negro Jack three 
hundred and fifty dollars, amount seven hundred and thirty four dollars from 
which deducted one dollar and twenty cents.  To Mary Jane Shaw negro Ben two 
hundred and seventy five dollars, negro John two hundred and ninety four 
dollars, negro Serena one Hundred and thirty eight dollars cash twenty six
