    Elias Stradford |   Elias Stradford of the County
___________________ |   of Robeson in the State of
North Carolina who deceased the 5th Instant did in his
last sickneSs and a few hours before his death then being
of sound mind and pewrfect memory said it was his will
and desire that his Estate should be disposed of in the
following manner (to wit) that John Hammon Senr
should have his crop meaning his corn peas and
every other thing which constituted the whole of his
Crop – The remainder of his Estate namely Land Cattle
and Hog his working Tools wearing apparel and
generally every thing that he was poSseSsed at the
time of his deceased he desired should be equally divid-
ed among the sons of the afores.d John Hammons
namely Jacob Hammons  Samuel Hammons  Enoch
Hammon  John Hammon  and Hervey Hammon –
reduced to writing this the 6th August 1800
