Indenture made June 13, 1798 between William Ashley and John Lewis both of 
Robeson, for 30 pounds land in Robeson adjacent to Lewis upper back corner, 
Varnums line, Middle Branch containing 60 acres.

Witnesses: Wm Herring and Briton Barnes
