You are hereby Required to Survey Lay out and Admeasure for Cause to be 
Surveyed Said ?out and Admeasure for Niel Brown fifty Acres of Land. In
Said County Agreeable to his Entrey a copy  of Which is  hereunto Anexed 
and Such Survey so to be made do you Return to the secretaries (?) Office
According to Law for Which this Shall be your Warrent given under my hand this

of the Westermost prong about Thirty chain above the
road &runing No 31 Deg. East 15 chain &82 links.  Thence
S59E. 31 Chain &63 links; Thence S.31W. 15 Chain &82
Links; Thence direct to the Beginning.  16th Jany 1789.

living in Robeson County, NC during this period:  Niel Brown, Esq.,and my 
ancestor, Neill Brown (known as "Tory" Neill Brown).
