DEED FROM JOHN C. McCORMIC TO JAMES HUNT

John C. McCormic      State of North Carolina

            To                       Robeson County

James Hunt                 Now all men By these

                                    Presents that I John C Mc

                                    Cormic of the County and

State aforesaid has this day Bargained Sold and

by these presents do bargain sell and convey and

Set over unto James Hunt of the County and

State aforesaid A Certain track of Land Ling

and being in the County of Robeson and State afore-

Said Lying on the North Side of Lumber River con-

taining Fifty acres Being a part of a tract the

Said John C. McCormic now resides on adjoining

the Lands of William McNeill & John C. McCormic

doe by these presents doe Bind myself in a Bond my

Erys administrators and aSsigns in sum of three Hundred

dollars to James Hunt his Eyrs and administrators

and aSsigns to be Truly, made the obligation of

the title Bond is sutch that if the Said John C.

Cormic Shall make the Said James Hunt a warritee

Title to the aforesaid Land then this Title Bond Shall

Be void and none effect otherwise to Remain in

full force and virture as WitneSs Whereunto I have

Set my hand and Seal this the 15 of Oct 1853

Robeson County November Term 1853

Then was the Execution of the within Bond duly

proven in open Court by the oath of J. B. Harris

a subscribing witneSs thereto and ordered to be
