Robeson County, NC - Arren Wilcox & wife to Henry P. Lovette - 1880 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arren Wilcox & wife State of North Carolina to Robeson County Henry P. Lovett This Deed made this 26th day of July 1880 by Arren Wilcox and his wife Sabra Wilcox of Robeson County and State of North Carolina to Henry Pinkney Lovett of Robeson County and State of North Carolina. Witnessth that said Arren Wilcox & wife Sabra Wilcox in consideration of Twenty ($20.00) Dollars to them paid by Henry Pinkney Lovett the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain sell and convey to said Henry Pinkney Lovett and his heirs a tract or parcel of land in Robeson County, State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of William Lovett, Elisha Cox, Arren Wilcox and others bounded as follows, viz: Beginning at West Corner of William Lovett's land and runs North to Arren Wilcox's land to a long leaf pine near the path that runs from Elisha Cox's to Reuben Lovett's thence South West to the beginning so as to contain Ten Acres, being part of a One Hundred and Fifty Acre tract conveyed to Sabra Wilcox by her Father Benjamin Lovett. To have and hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to said Henry Pinkney Lovett his heirs and assigns to their only use and behoof. And the said Arren Wilcox and wife covenants that they are Seized of said premises in fee and have right to convey the same in fee simple, that the same are free from all encumbrances and that they will warrant and defend the said title to the Same against the claims of all persons whatsoever.
