Philip Spier         ) To all people to whom these presents shall come, I Philip
        To           ( Spier of the State of North Carolina Robeson County
Henry and John Spier ) for and in consideration of the love good will and 
affection which I have and do bear towards my loving children, Henry and John 
Spier of the same County and State aforesaid have given and granted and by 
these present do freely give and grant unto the said Henry and John Spier their 
heirs executors or administrators one hundred and thirty three acres of land 
lying in the old field Swamp where I now live and one cotton machine in said 
land together with all my stock consisting of horses cattle hogs and sheep with 
all my household furniture and every thing pertaining thereunto of which the 
above property I have given them the said Henry and John Spier an Inventory 
signed by my own hand and bearing date – To have and to hold all the said 
property to them the said Henry and John Spier their heirs executors 
administrators from henceforth without any conditions.  In witness where of I 
have set my hand and seal this 4th day of March 1822.
